It's now easier than ever to contact us ...
Residents are reminded that online is the quickest and most effective way to access many services run by Adur & Worthing Councils.
The Councils say online is easier and safer to obtain quick and efficient help on a range of services from benefit payments to waste collection and housing enquiries and all services in between. Telephone lines have been open throughout lockdown and will remain so.
Visits to offices must now be by appointment only to observe social distancing rules and help keep residents and staff safe.
Here are the three options are explained:

Appointments:
A new system of appointment bookings is now available for those needing to physically attend the Councils' offices. Please telephone the number of the service you are calling about (see above) so that we can assess the need for an appointment for you.
Only by making an appointment can people now be seen at our offices at:
- Portland House, 44 Richmond Road, Worthing, BN11 1HS
- or the Shoreham Centre, Pond Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43 5WU
We want to prioritise face to face appointments for customers with emergency needs and we are asking anyone able to get what they need online/by phone to do that.
We are also asking customers to post documentation to us rather than to bring it in, or to email us scanned documents (please check with us first, as different services operate differently).
An appointment system means that residents will not have to face long waits if turning up without advanced notice and that we can maintain social distancing within our reception areas. This will save time and mean residents should be served speedily.
