The Parks Section of Adur District Council administer 13 allotment sites throughout the area. Although the allotment sites vary in size and nature the majority of individual plots are around 5 rods.
Allotments are available for any resident of Adur over the age of 18. There are waiting lists for all of our sites, and you must be an Adur resident to be added to the list. The waiting time for a plot can be up to five years depending on the site. However, as of 01/08/2016, many of our sites do have vacancies or very short waiting times.
Please note that due to the length of our waiting lists, as from 25/02/2009 all applications will be limited to one site only.
Once you have chosen the site you are interested in you will need to register on a waiting list by contacting the Parks Group.
You can complete the on-line application for an allotment form to start the process:
If a plot becomes available we will contact you.
Please ensure that you notify us of any changes in your contact details.
Finally when you have agreed an allocated plot you will need to fill in an 'allotment agreement' form. Then as long as you comply with the terms of the agreement the allotment plot is available for your use.
Full details of costs are available on application.
