Current Licensing applications and consultations
The terms of application for some forms of licensing require public consultation and, where relevant representation is received, a hearing by the Licensing Authority.
For Southwick, Shoreham and Lancing the licensing authority is Adur District Council and for the borough of Worthing this is Worthing Borough Council.
In this section is a list of the applications, categorised by type, that are outstanding and other licensing policy documents that the councils are currently consulting on or awaiting hearings:
- Licensing Act 2003 Consultations
- Gambling Act 2005 Consultations
- All other licence applications and consultations
All the applications and policy documents can be viewed in full at the Licensing Unit. All licensing hearings are held, in public, those relating to premises in:
- Adur - at the Shoreham Centre, Pond Road, Shoreham-by-Sea
- Worthing - at Worthing Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing
unless otherwise noted.
Adur District Council and Worthing Borough Council strive to ensure that all applicants and licence holders are treated fairly.
