Vision for Nature

We have adopted a bold new vision for nature to protect and restore the natural environment from the Downs to the coast. Building on existing projects, this approach brings together work to create five connected corridors for nature, helping wildlife thrive and improving access to green and blue spaces.

The five corridors provide a powerful focus for our efforts, but the ultimate goal is to weave nature back into every part of our district and borough. Partnership working will be central to future projects, with organisations, landowners, communities and volunteers working together to protect and reconnect nature across the area.
