Bus gates and bus lanes

Worthing Borough Council will be responsible for the issuing of penalty charge notices (PCN) which will be sent by post to the DVLA registered owner/keeper for vehicles driving through a bus gate or bus lane in West Sussex.

Enforcement of bus lanes and bus gates is carried out by West Sussex County Council (WSCC) using Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR).

Worthing Borough Council will also be responsible for considering any appeals against a bus gates or bus lanes contravention and for payments.
