New homes for our citizens: Leconfield Road, Lancing
New homes completed: see press release - New Lancing council houses completed for local residents
About the site
This former storage site, which is owned by Adur District Council, has long been earmarked as having the potential to deliver much needed new council homes for Adur residents.
It is the smallest site in our small sites programme, but the design has allowed for two 2-bedroom houses with private gardens and off-street parking.
The proposed dwellings have been designed to be sympathetic to the surroundings. Carefully chosen materials provide a familiarity yet enhance the neighbourhood appearance with high quality. These materials are also chosen with the intention to reduce any ongoing management, maintenance and repair costs.
Redevelopment works are now well underway and are currently on track to complete early next year.
