Extra Care Housing for people aged 55 and over needing extra help

What is Extra Care Housing

Extra Care Housing is generally for people aged 55 and over who need housing with care and support. There is a very limited amount of Extra Care housing in Adur and Worthing. The accommodation provided consists of independent flats, each with its own front door.

Extra Care Housing is not the same as residential care and is not a nursing home.

You need to apply to join the Housing Register.
