Bin day - Adur & Worthing Councils

From Tuesday 6th May 2025: your refuse, recycling and garden waste collection day may change. These changes will improve the efficiency of the service.

To avoid missing a collection, it is important that you check what changes may apply to your address.

Some households will be asked to put both their refuse and recycling bins out for collection in the first week of the new schedule.

Please note that your refuse and/or recycling collections may happen on different days for the first week only, they will then return to alternating weeks. Please double-check the dates to ensure you don't miss a collection.

We do not accept reports of missed garden sacks. If your garden waste sack has been missed, please put it out on your next collection day. Please make sure it is kerbside and clearly visible.
