Alex will be supporting:

  • The Ashdown Centre: provides lifeline respite from caring, for families of children and young people with autism and complex mental and physical disabilities. With critical services for children and young adults ranging from the ages of 5-30, The Ashdown Centre provides services for families in the Worthing and surrounding areas.

  • Worthing Mencap: is an active, progressive organisation championing the rights of people with learning disabilities and their families and carers and directly improving the facilities and opportunities available to them. They work to champion the rights and provide support to people with learning disabilities and their families and carers in the Worthing area, through a wide provision of services, to help them lead independent lives engaging fully in the local community.

  • The Alzheimer's Society: Alzheimer's affects over 850,000 people in the UK, 14,184 in West Sussex and 1,971 in Worthing. The Alzheimer's society is the UK's leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their family and carers. They provide information and support to people with any form of dementia and to their carers.
