Designation of the Shoreham Beach Neighbourhood Forum

On 20th November 2014, Adur District Council designated the Shoreham Beach Neighbourhood Forum to become the qualifying body to progress the Shoreham Beach Neighbourhood Plan, in accordance with the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (see details below). This designation expired in November 2019.

Subsequently a further application for the designation of the Shoreham Beach Neighbourhood Forum was received by the Council in 2020. This was consulted on from 19th March 2020 until 22nd May 2020:

Background and designation

Shoreham Beach Neighbourhood Forum submitted an application to Adur District Council in August 2014 for a neighbourhood area to be designated, and to have the Shoreham Beach Neighbourhood Forum formally designated. This application was published for consultation from the 20th August 2014 to the 1st October 2014.

A decision was made on the 20th November 2014 by Adur District Council to approve the Shoreham Beach neighbourhood area and designate the Shoreham Beach neighbourhood forum in relation to this area.
