Parking motorcycles on the road

Adur:

There are no designated motorcycle bays in Adur at present.

Worthing:

You can find designated motorcycle bays in Worthing at:

• Augusta Place
• Chatsworth Road
• Liverpool Gardens
• The Steyne

Parking in these designated bays is free.

You do not need a resident parking permit for your motorcycle if you are a resident in a Worthing Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ).

Parking motorcycles in car parks

Motorcycle parking

Motorcycles can park within our pay and display / pay on arrival car parks provided the appropriate charge has been paid and they are parked in the correct bay. We recommend that motorcyclists use MiPermit to purchase parking, however, if purchasing a pay and display ticket, we recommend that the motorcycle registration number is written on the ticket to discourage anyone from removing it and to place it in an old tax disc holder or lockable or secure holder affixed to the motorcycle, the details of the pay and display ticket must be clearly visible.
