Shoreham Airshow 10th anniversary memorial service

Ten years ago today, on 22nd August 2015, eleven men tragically lost their lives following the airshow disaster in Shoreham. A further 16 people were injured, and the event remains fresh in the memories of the victims' families and friends, and across our communities.

This afternoon, victims' loved ones gathered around the Shoreham Airshow Memorial, located beside the River Adur. At 1:22pm - the time the plane crashed ten years ago - they listened and observed a two-minute silence as the names of those who died were read out.

We are thinking of the victims, their families and friends on the anniversary of the disaster, and would like to thank everyone that's helped adorn the memorial and Old Shoreham Toll Bridge with a beautiful display of flowers.
