Sunday trading

The Sunday Trading Act 1994 restricts the opening hours of large shops (floor area exceeding 280m²) to a continuous six-hour period between 10:00am and 6:00pm, and requires at least 14 days prior written notice of the proposed opening hours to be given to the Council.
