Data and information about our communities

Local Insight

Through West Sussex County Council we have access to a data platform called Local Insight. Local Insight produces area based reports about our communities including information on issues relating to vulnerable groups, housing, community safety access, transport and the economy.

For example, though Local Insight we have produced these two reports about the communities of Adur and Worthing:

Census maps 

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has a new interactive Census 2021 map to explore data as it become available that may be helpful:

Joint Strategic Needs Assessment Information (JSNA)

The West Sussex Health and Wellbeing Board undertakes a regular Joint Strategic Needs Assessment process to better understand the needs of residents in West Sussex.   As part of this assessment and using 2022 census data, the Board has produced data packs for Adur and Worthing, providing information about health and wellbeing plus demographic information about equality groups:
