Snow, ice and cold weather
Snow, ice and cold weather can cause major disruption during the winter months.
While West Sussex County Council is responsible for maintaining the footpaths and pedestrian areas, during severe weather conditions their primary concern is the clearing of major road networks. In the event of severe cold weather we will therefore assist in the clearing of snow from pavements, town centre areas and other high risk areas, working alongside parish councils in the area.
