Buckingham Ward, Shoreham, by-election results

The Labour Party have retained the Buckingham Ward seat in Shoreham after yesterday's Adur District Council by-election.
Labour candidate Kate Davis was elected with 609 votes. The full list of results are as follows:
- David Bamber (Britain First - Housing For Locals) - 22
- Kate Davis (Labour) - 609
- Ian Jones (Liberal Democrat) - 153
- Mike Mendoza (Reform) - 311
- Leila Williams (Conservative) - 301
- Rejected / invalid - 3
- Turnout - 45.4%
The seat was previously held by Labour Councillor Nigel Jenner, who sadly died in April.
The results mean that the political make-up of the council is as follows:
- 17 Labour members
- 7 Conservatives
- two Greens
- and three Independents
