New draft validation requirements for Worthing
We have produced a new Validation Requirements document for Worthing Borough (not covering Adur) which takes account of the Worthing Local Plan adopted in 2023. This is a checklist of information needed to make a planning application complete and valid, ensuring it meets both national requirements (set out by government) and specific local needs, allowing Councils to process planning applications effectively and efficiently.
A draft version was commented on by Planning Officers, Planning Agents and Statutory Bodies to ensure that the content was accurate and easier to follow. We would now like to extend the consultation to everyone to get your views on its content and format. The document can be found here:
