Supporting your community
Adur & Worthing Councils, in partnership with third parties and stakeholders, sometimes have opportunities for businesses to engage with events and initiatives across the District and Borough, supporting activities delivered by our community as well as official council events.
If you are interested in being notified of these opportunities, please read on and register your details with us. Should opportunities arise, relevant Adur & Worthing Councils officers will make contact providing further details of the offer. At this stage there is no obligation or expectation to commit
The Councils receive community needs on a regular basis and whilst the Council looks to provide for these requests there are times when these fall out of the statutory responsibilities.
These opportunities could form in kind contributions, financial contributions, equipment or food, or other community provision. The opportunities cover:
- Sustainability initiatives
- Parks and Foreshore
- Health & Well being initiatives
- Nature
- Sponsorship of major events
- Sponsorship of community initiatives
- Reducing poverty
