Small sites consultation July 2022

Introduction

The number of people looking to Adur & Worthing Councils for help to find a home is increasing.

Across Adur and Worthing there are hundreds of people on waiting lists in need of housing. We urgently need to find sites for affordable housing developments.

The Councils have been looking at their existing stock of sites and buildings to assess their potential for new housing developments. Three new sites have now been identified.

They are:

  • Prince Charles Close, Southwick
  • Victoria Road, Worthing
  • South Street car park (behind 71-81 South Street), Lancing

Our architects have produced bespoke plans for each site and during Summer 2022 we will carry out a series of community drop-in events to seek views on the initial proposals before submitting formal planning applications.

Once the events have taken place, you will be able to add your feedback using links which will appear on this page.
