Were you looking for:
- Recycling is collected fortnightly from most households, except for some properties in town centres where it is collected weekly
- Most houses have a recycling wheelie bin which has a blue lid and is embossed with two dots for their recycling
- Town centre properties will have a blue box for recycling
All items must be clean, dry and loose. Do not put items contained in plastic bags! All recyclables should be rinsed out where necessary. Make sure they are contained within the bin or box to prevent them getting wet.
Your household recycling must be put out on the front boundary of your property close to the pavement in a clearly visible location (or in your bin store if that's where it's normally collected from) ready for collection by 6:30am on the morning of your collection day.
Please avoid blocking paths or other public areas.
Certain items can be disposed of for recycling at the Tip (Household Waste Recycling Site), details on larger items and how to recycle them can be found on our xxx - A to Z of Recycling.
