e-Tendering and contract management
The Councils use the In-Tend e-tendering system for the majority of quotation and tender opportunities. It is recommended that you read the guidance below before you access the system for the first time.
In-Tend - How does it work?
The system is fully web-based and is used to advertise requirements for services and goods being sought by us and to allow suppliers to express interest in such opportunities. The system provides for the secure transfer of documents between the Councils and our suppliers during the complete procurement process, from publication of documents through to receipt and evaluation of tenders and finally award of contract. The system is also used for smaller value, less complex quotation exercises.
What do I need to do?
Register your organisation on In-Tend to see the current tender opportunities, before expressing interest as a sub-contractor or supplier.
Whether you are interested in an opportunity currently being advertised on the site or not, you are strongly urged to register your Company on the In-Tend site to ensure that you do not miss out on any future business opportunities. Registration on the site is completely free and you can access the site by using the link provided in the In-Tend Supplier Guide below.
As part of the simple registration form you will be asked to complete your Company Details, Company Contact Details and Primary User Details. Email alerts and actions will be sent to the email addresses you provide, so if possible it is useful to enter a general company email address in the Primary User Details section such as info@ *****.co.uk
For cases where this person or inbox may be unavailable, we strongly recommended you add an Additional User (located at the bottom of the screen) so they can gain access to the site and also receive a copy of the emails.
Please find below a helpful document to ensure that you get the most out of using the In-Tend site:

Where can I find out more?
We have prepared a 'frequently asked questions' document which you can find below. It contains important additional information on the system and how we are proposing to use it. We recommend that you take a few moments to read it.
