Talented local students help bring Worthing's new festival to life
Released: Tuesday, 16 May 2023
The Worthing Festival is promoting local talent in more ways than one, with the new celebration providing exciting opportunities to the town's talented students, as well as the acts and individuals who will be hosting events.
Northbrook College students Angel Gomes and Amber Gonzalez-Radley have had their creative skills celebrated as part of a campaign to help promote Worthing's new multi-arts festival.
The art and design students' work has been viewed by thousands online at Time for Worthing and provides a wonderful platform for the area's students to showcase their talent.
Angel said:
“Of all the live projects we worked on doing our degree, the Worthing Festival helped us to get our work in the public domain the quickest.”
Amber said:
"It was nice to be able to create work for the Worthing Festival and be a part of it while still studying."

The pair's teaser artwork features prints, photographs and designs by their fellow students at Northbrook, who took part in a separate competition to create the official poster artwork for this year's festival.
It was a really difficult decision to make, but the festival's judging panel picked Jess Galbraith's artwork as the winner. The judges were so impressed by the other students' creations however, that they asked the college to build the designs of all the runners-up into marketing material which could be used to promote the festival online.
The college's other students whose artwork has been celebrated as part of the Worthing Festival include Harriet Sherman, Johnathan Fleming, Isabelle Dance, Rebecca Durrant, Daisy Kool, Monique Clarke, Gemma Kimberly and Ashley Magara.
