Released: Tuesday, 15 August 2017
Shoreham Farmers' Market is competing to become Best Market in Sussex for the second year running - but it needs your help to win the award.
The market, has once again, been nominated in the Sussex Food & Drink Awards to earn the title of Sussex Farmers Market of the Year 2018 and is the current holder of the award. Now Shoreham needs to prove that it has the support of market goers to have chance of winning again!
Wendy Francis, Adur District Council's Markets Chief, said:
“Shoreham really is a wonderful market. I hope all of it's fans will take a little time to vote for it again.”
More than 45 stall holders and producers from around the county flock to the town every month to sell their goods. Shoppers can buy from a wide range of foods including fresh seafood such as scallops, meat, cheeses, high quality fruit and vegetables, produce with hummus and olives available among many others.
To vote simply visit the Sussex Food & Drink Awards website using the link below.
Voting is open until the 19th September 2017.
The market takes place on the second Saturday of every month in East Street in Shoreham between 9am and 1pm.
