Ham Road car park site
Adur District Council will shortly be submitting a planning application for the redevelopment of the former Civic Centre Car Park on Ham Road, Shoreham.
The proposal will consist of a new three storey commercial office development, car parking and landscaping.
The development is seen as an important opportunity to support the local economy and will involve the redevelopment of a gateway site into Shoreham. It will provide high quality office accommodation with a focus on the environmental performance of the building.
A range of technical studies are being carried out to help inform development proposals.
Details of the work carried out to date and emerging plans for the site were on display at a consultation event held at The Shoreham Centre, 2 Pond Road, Shoreham-By-Sea, BN43 5WU on Monday 26th June 2017 from 3pm to 8pm.
Exhibition boards detailing the plans were then on show in the Shoreham Centre until Friday 7th July 2017.

As well as the exhibition, an online survey was also available for completion between 3:00pm on Monday 26th June and 5:00pm on Monday 10th July 2017.

What happens now?
The consultation process has now ended and the Council is reviewing all representations received and will be working on a detailed planning application which, it is proposed, will be submitted in the coming weeks.
