Stopping up of Highway at road off A259 Brighton Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43 6RF

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No. 39) Order 2020" authorising the stopping up of the entrance to the existing Sussex Yacht Club from the A259 Brighton Road in the District of Adur, West Sussex to enable development as permitted by Adur District Council, under reference AWDM/1695/18.

or may be obtained, free of charge, from: The Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SE/S247/4328) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Adur District Council, 2 Pond Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43 5WU.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 15th October 2020 (by 26th November 2020) apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
