This report provides information on multiple deprivation in the Adur District and Worthing Borough.

Deprivation in the report is collected at an Lower Super Output Area (LSOA) level which is smaller than ward level. The levels of deprivation shown are 'relative', i.e. comparing one area to another. This short report is laid out in an easy to understand format showing the headline deprivation data, to download the full datasets showing the data for all LSOAs in Adur and Worthing, please see our Deprivation Data in our Community Profile.

To ensure the data is used and interpreted correctly and for the data to be of maximum use, it is advisable to read the introduction at the start of the report and read the introductions on the spreadsheets.

The data which is the most recently available for the Indices of Deprivation was released in July 2015.

Indices of Deprivation 2010

This report provides information on deprivation in both the Adur District and the Worthing Borough.

Deprivation in the report is shown on a national, county, electoral ward and neighbourhood level. The levels of deprivation shown are 'relative', i.e. comparing one area to another.

The data is the most recently available for the Indices of Deprivation released in July 2011.

Although the report is laid out in an easy to understand format it is advisable to read the introduction at the start of the report for the document to be of maximum use.
