Adur Civic Centre - Site plan (491KB)
Background
The Civic Centre site was identified in Shoreham Renaissance as the primary gateway to Shoreham-by-Sea from the east.
It was recognised as an opportunity for regeneration which lends itself to commercial uses.
Given its prominence, there was a need for good quality buildings.
Planning context
Coming soon.
Update
In June 2011 the Adur Civic Centre was placed on the market.
The marketing details highlighted that the site could be used for a wide variety of uses, subject to planning, including retail/supermarket with commercial or residential floors above.
Following a two stage competitive tender and interview process, Cantium Developments was selected to purchase the site.
It is anticipated that proposals for its redevelopment will include a 5,500 sq metre food store.
