Canvassers:

Canvassers are required for this year's Electoral Services department annual canvass of properties in the Adur and Worthing areas during November 2014.

You will be knocking on doors of selected properties to encourage occupants to register to vote, posting literature through the letter boxes of properties where you get no reply and returning to those properties at a later date to chase up registration forms.

You should be confident in dealing with the general public and able to undertake the physical element of the work, i.e. being on your feet for an extended length of time and carrying forms around in a supplied shoulder bag.

Payment will be performance related.

Closing date: 3rd September 2014

If you are interested in applying for a position as a canvasser please request an application form by emailing katy.mcmullan@adur-worthing.gov.uk
